A lovely day for a walk

In the 72 degree sun Tuesday, David Valderrama walked from Cokato to Litchfield with the cross on his shoulder. Valderrama, a 29-year-old from Tulsa, Okla. has walked from Maple Grove, Minn. to New Richmond, Wis., and from Maple Grove, Minn. to his arrival in Litchfield on Tuesday. Valderrama has logged more than 1,100 miles in an effort to share the gospel. Read more about it in the July 9 print edition of the Independent Review.

Planning the move

Laura Laird of Project Management Resources talks with a move from Bester Brothers about where various items should be placed in the Meeker Memorial Hospital expansion. Friday was moving day at the hospital, with rehabilitation services, emergency services and admitting, radiology, surgery, medical surgical/critical care/OB all being relocated to the new 75,000 square foot expansion area. The hospital's new main entrance, which faces south on Lockerbie Street. For more about the move, see the July 2 issue of the Independent Review.
