The Litchfield High School bands will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. April 3 in the LHS gymnasium.

The bands will highlight music from Tuesday’s Minnesota State High School League large-group contest, as well as additional songs they have been working on this winter.

The freshmen band will play a piece, called “Quest for an Undaunted Knight,” which is a musical story from Medieval times. The 10th grade varsity band’s selections will feature an Irish song, “Loch Lomond.”

The concert band will play a war piece called, “Gathering at the Rinks,” and “Be Thou My Vision” based on the old hymn. During the concert, the band also will play the musical score from “The Chronicles of Narnia” with scenes from the movie broadcast to a large screen.
