Nic Johnson ran for 248 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Litchfield football team to a 33-20 victory over Dassel-Cokato Sept. 26.

Litchfield dominated the first half, getting touchdown runs from Damian Heairet, Aaron Solbrack and Johnson to take a 21-0 lead at halftime.

D-C (2-3, 1-3 Wright County Conference) pulled within 21-13 early in the fourth quarter, but Johnson broke free for a 73-yard touchdown on the ensuing possession.

Johnson added a 6-yard scoring plunge to cap the scoring.

Litchfield (3-2, 3-2 WCC) plays host to WCC frontrunner Orono at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 at Litchfield High School.
