Kurtis Huisman, a senior running back/linebacker for Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School, is a finalist for the Mr. Minnesota Football Award.
Huisman was second among ACGC running backs in carries (163), yards (1,233) and rushing touchdowns (18).
He led the Falcons in receptions (16), receiving yards (317) and receiving touchdowns (seven).
Huisman finished the season with a team-high 28 touchdowns in 11 games.
Huisman also made 11 solo tackles and 33 assists on defense.
A selection committee selected Huisman as one of 10 finalist from around the state on. Nov. 15.
The Mr. Football Banquet is scheduled for 1 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Double Tree Park Place in Minneapolis.
