Dragons destroy defending WCC champs

Litchfield scored 22 runs in the first two innings, including 17 in the second inning alone, to defeat defending Wright County Conference champ Glencoe-Silver Lake 23-3 in baseball action April 22 at Optimist Park.

Kaleb Kalbrenner picked up the win for the Dragons, who improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in WCC play.

Litchfield plays at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Watertown-Mayer.
