LHS band to play part in "mini documumentary"

» Read similar stories filed under:

Litchfield High School marching band has earned a reputation for excellence with performances in parades throughout the country.

Now, for something different.

The Marching Dragons will be part of a Best Buy commercial documentary, which will be filmed today and Saturday in Darwin. The band will play from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, performing "Roll Out the Barrel", "Anchors Aweigh" and the "Litchfield Rouser" as a film crew captures the fun.

Footage of the band could be used in a "mini documentary" which eventually will be shown on the Geek Squad Web site at www.geeksquadwireless.com.

Geek Squad, a division of Best Buy, is launching its United for Wireless Independence campaign, and marketers chose Darwin as the spot for the launch.
