The Litchfield Marching Dragons are tallying up the wins.

In its first competition of the year, Litchfield scored 77.2 points June 14 at the Buffalo Days parade to secure first in its clas. The band, which also won best colorguard, came up just short to grand champion Park Center, which tallied 79 points.

The band made up for it June 15, taking grand champion in the Hutchinson Water Carnival parade. The Dragons beat out 11 other bands, including Waconia, to finish with 80.1 points. The band also won best color guard.Band performs at Relay For Life Friday

“We beat Waconia. It’s been about four years since we did that last,” band director Dave Ceasar said.

Continuing its winning ways, the band took first at Paynesville's Town and Country Days June 18 with 82.9 points.

On June 19, the band tied with Waconia for first in Class AA at the Gateway to the North Parade in Milaca. Both squads recorded 82.5 points, but first place went to Waconia after taking best colorguard, drumline and drum major honors. The Mankato 77 Lancers earned Grand Champion honors.

The Marching Dragons added another win to their total at Saturday's Lake Waconia Band Festival. The band earned first in its class with 79 points, also earning a best wind section award. Park Center earned overall Grand Champion.

The band will perform in Roseville tonight. Remaining performances include:

• June 26 at Litchfield’s Pie in the Park
• June 27: Sauk Rapids parade, 6 p.m.
• June 28: Rogers parade, noon
• June 29: Lake City parade/band competition, 2 p.m.
• July 12: Watercade parade, 6 p.m.
