The 20th annual Forest City Threshers will take place Saturday and Sunday in Forest City.
Thresher Days promise to be fun and educational, with opportunities to learn about farm work, as well as parades each day at 1 p.m.
This year’s featured tractors are Oliver Hart-Parr.
On Saturday and Sunday, there will be French toast breakfast with sausage and eggs from 8 to 9:30 a.m., roast beef dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as live music, a saw mill, gas engines, stationary steam engines, District 74 school house, a blacksmith shop, curiosity corner, corn shredding, threshing, horses and camping.
An antique tractor pull will take place after the parade on Saturday only.
There will be a free kids pedal tractor pull, open to ages 4-11, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with prizes to the top three finishers.
There will be exhibitors and food on the grounds from Friday through Sunday. Cost is $4 for adults for one day or $7 for two days, and free for children 12 and younger.
The Forest City Threshers is six miles northeast of Litchfield on Minnesota Highway 24.
