A lesson in Civil War history

American history students at Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School listened to Civil War re-enactors Dave Penkert and Bruce Nelson describe life for a Civil War soldier Friday. Penkert and Nelson recreate life with the Second Minnesota Volunteer Regiment, which served between 1861 and 1865. Visit their Web site at www.2ndminnesota.org.
