 <description>&lt;p&gt;Descendants of a Dakota Indian chief will speak Sunday at the Litchfield G.A.R. Hall.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Verna Francisco and Rose Galkowsky are the great-granddaughters of Standing Buffalo, an instrumental figure in the Dakota Conflict of 1862.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The women have family history on both sides of the Dakota Conflict and will speak about Dakota Indian heritage at 1:30 p.m Sunday at the hall, 308 N. Marshall Ave. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The presentation is hosted by the Meeker County Historical Society. For more information, call 693-8911.&lt;/p&gt;
