The new Kickers...

So Kickers has been sold. What the future holds for the bar is unknown. The bar has had many different owners over the years. I remember when it was the frontier and everything looked like a tomato threw up, bright red. Then there was the Maverick era when big Steve owned it, and the list goes on and on.

Anybody know anything about the new owners and/or what kind of bar they plan on running?

Kickers was sold? Maybe the new owners will do something about that loud music when there is hardly anyone there. Nice place just too loud of music. great food too.

Kickers has not been sold. One of the owners told me that the deal fell through, but she also said that the bar is not for sale. Maybe they have had a change of heart or simply do not want to own a lame duck bar because they think business will drop off.

Kickers did not sell! Well that is awesome, I was really bummed when I heard that they were going to sell the bar. We always have so much fun there. We love their saying,
"It's not just a bar-It's a Party."
and the saying couldn't be more true.
It is always a Party and we are soooo glad that nothing is going to change.
Rock on Kickers!

Well hopefully they can do something because I have driven past and found it near dead. Maybe the people who were going to buy it just did not want a dead bar?

I am pretty sure that it has been sold. I believe the couple is from out of state. That place has changed hands and undergone so many different types of "renovations" and owners it is amazing they are still open.

The place is a fun place... but so loud. with this smoking ban now firmly in place, I can see how this is going to affect some bars and that is sad to see, but maybe the new people can do a few things here and there?

To clear any confusion, the Meeker County Board of Commissioners approved the transfer of the Kicker’s Bar and Grill liquor license today to a new owner — Beverly Surface of Litchfield.

Kickers is way better than it was with the old owners. Happy hour is from 4 - 7 and is very cheap. Free fresh made chips with salsa also. The burgers are now handmade, instead of frozen Apperts patties. I've got nothing bad to say about the place.
