What is it with all the hypocrites?
So Kickers has been sold. What the future holds for the bar is unknown. The bar has had many different owners over the years.
The state needs to start requiring drivers tests for anyone over 70. I have nearly been turned into a greasy splotch by three separate 70+ year old drivers in three days.
Why is it there is even a debate about the, "opera house?" This building has been in decrepit condition for years and is not worth fixing, much less spending a minimum of $100,000 dollars on.
Anybody else read this book? I am about half way through, and it seems that it is about as important a document as has been written in a long time.
Middle income wages have grown 1% since 2000. In the five years previous they grew 6%. Middle and lower incomes are less now then they were in 1995 due to inflation.
So as President Bush is urging us to pray for our nation, I thought maybe I would write a prayer for him to say...
Dear God,
As I drive through Litchfield, the town I grew up in, the town I live in, the town my daughter goes to school in, certain things are very noticeable.
Smoking ban. Good thing right, cleaner air etc. What about the rights of the business owners to control their own property?
